TOP WOMEN GOLFERS RETURN TO COMPETE
AT MOSS VALE PRO-AM IN 2020
The Aoyuan International Moss Vale Pro-Am returns in 2020 as a bigger tournament, extended across two days – 28-29 January – offering more golf for spectators and more opportunity to see some of the world’s top women golfers in action.
Aoyuan International is back as the major sponsor of this event, making it possible for Moss Vale Golf Club to stage this key event in the annual professional golfing calendar.
The Aoyuan International Moss Vale Pro-am is designated as one of the official qualifying events for the ISPS Handa Vic Open and the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open, the two richest events on ALPG tour.
A field of 84 professional players will tee off on Tuesday January 28 alongside amateurs, and again the following day. On Tuesday evening, the women will vie for Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin in a fast-paced Shoot-out – a fiercely competed spectator event which is lots of fun and sure to attract plenty of friendly banter.
Past leading Australian and international winners at Moss Vale include Dame Laura Davies, Katherine Kirk, Cathyrn Bristow, Bree Arthur, Sarah Oh and last year’s joint winners, Tahnia Ravnjak and Sarah Kemp.
